About Nancy

Nancy C.L. Stein is an attorney, journalist and marketing professional with 35+ years of research, writing and marketing experience. She writes a wide variety of content and assists clients with communications and brand recognition efforts. Nancy is well known for her skill in crafting award-winning descriptions that clearly differentiate businesses and their people from their competitors. 

Nancy brings the right skill set, a law degree, legal practice and marketing experience, and a journalism background along with the insight gained from managing a number of large-scale projects. She works seamlessly with editorial, communications and marketing teams, lawyers and corporate executives. From identifying and launching new content through all phases of project management, Nancy ensures quality, clarity and timely completion. She has drafted website descriptions and collateral marketing materials for law firms covering nearly every area of practice.

Her previous projects include managing content production, and writing and editing website pages, brochures, articles and rankings submissions for numerous Am Law 200 law firms, creating style guides and templates, and writing content for corporations. She has written materials for Dechert, Holland & Knight, Kramer Levin, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Best Best & Krieger, Ropes & Gray, Stroock & Stroock & Lavan, and many other leading law firms. 

Based in New York, Nancy works with clients from across the nation and around the globe. She is a graduate of Brandeis University and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a member of the New York State Bar Association, Law Firm Media Professionals (LFMP) and Legal Marketing Association (LMA). Nancy was a co-editor and editorial committee member of LMA’s Strategies magazine (2020).
